the USB tape is an interesting product. its a 64 gig USB drive that is a little bulky but the stealth factor is pretty well done. There is even a slip that has track listings and the tape looks pretty real until you look close. would be cool if they added some pictures or something fun to discover on the USB like wallpapers or a discount coupon to Maynard's winery lol

Amazing Tool. Long time fan. At first I didn’t realize what I’d do with this as a USB. Then, I immediately downloaded any and all Tool music related “files” I’ve saved over the years, to this USB Tool, then I thought, how ironic, full circle , where it all started, I’ve placed my most valuable Tool files. Nicely done!

It's really a game changer for our family, I'm actually surprised something like this hasn't hit the market sooner. Even our dogs, Baxter and Monster, enjoy the durability of it!

It’s a cassette tape form with a usb function. Completely not practical, it is to bulky to use in small spaces and it’ll get bumped easy if on a tower under your desk or in a laptop. It’s probably really good for storing data in a semi discrete manner. It’s kinda tough so it is good for travel if you were to actually use it as a flash drive. Your can’t separate the usb stick from the cassette tape. However that’s not why we bought one right! It’s a cool idea, has the shaft and nuts wrench of our favorite “Tool” and it’s a nice conversation starter. I didn’t knock any stars for it being impractical because that’s not why I bought it.

What a rad item. Always wanted to own the actual cassette but of course I will not, so this is just awesome and I just happen to need a USB stick so it just was like fate. Also, there is no ‘secret’ music or the demo session, just free space to save stuff, the case and tape look is as cool as you would think, just a nice piece of Tool history! Thanks for putting these out!

Well made and well marketed Worth the $20.00 Would've been awesome to at least have the original demo tracks on it or at least an option to purchase the digital library to have on it so it could be played via the USB port on car stereos

Would have been cool to have included the listed songs as MP3s on the usb. Missed opp but not a deal breaker. Very cool regardless. I’ll use it to store my Tool collection for my cars usb.

I put it in the tape deck in my car but it didn't work. It's still pretty radical though. Now if I could only find that beta-max player...

Props to the marketing getting better products and new options. Feels like obvious cash grab. Hard to resist though. It would be nice if it included an actual cassette even if it was blank but stylized after the original. Tempting to buy and put Retro Pi on the USB or something.
