Tool is proud to present its debut fine art sculpture 'The Fetus in Skull Half-Scale Maquette.' Inspired by the 10,000 Days and Lateralus album artwork(s) by Alex Grey. Each collectible figure is cast in Polystone, individually hand painted, and hand numbered, making each unit similar, but distinct from the next.
The Fetus in Skull Maquette is a beautiful, unique, piece of artwork for the Tool fan collector meant to be appreciated; but also to invoke thought, introspection, and conversation. Special accents can be found throughout the work including the third eye torch on the skull and sawblade base.
This hand-numbered collectible is extremely rare with only 3,100 units available Worldwide. 515 Signed by band members and 2585 Unsigned. This unique collectible includes four components, each individually numbered with a matching sequence of X/3100 to ensure authenticity, collectability and value, today and well into the future.

The base art is screen printed with seven colors. The art box and COA are printed with foil paper hits. Please use supplied soft cotton gloves for safe handling.

ScottFebruary 28, 2023Cool piece! But for what’s supposed to be a fine art piece, I was expecting higher quality. Slight defects. What looks like a small crack in the jaw bone. Fingerprints and dirt inside the skull. What's the point of having white gloves to protect from our fingerprints, if there’s already some on the inside? Come on Tool, get it together. Where’s the quality control

I was hoping TOOL would of signed the stand base instead of the box to display the signatures with the skull. All in all I am happy with both, very well packaged too! If you’re a TOOL fan this is a much needed item to display!

The skull it self is very impressive, the fetus has details that I was not expecting. The skull is very realistic and nicely done. Very TOOL and Alex Grey influenced art no doubt!

AKFebruary 20, 2023Waited very anxiously for this expensive, but unique piece of Tool Art! Althogh I'm excited to add this to the collection on display in our curio cabinet, it's nice to know that I'm not the only fan to receive it broken on arrival! Where the mandible was broken, detached from the upper jaw, but was easily fixed with clear epoxy glue! Still happy with the purchase, and looking forward to more artwork!

Joseph LovetroFebruary 20, 2023I received my skull about 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately the jaw was broken. I repaired it and its on display in my home. Customer service was awesome when i emailed them regarding the damage. Love the artwork.

Jose PadillaFebruary 20, 2023Bought two (signed and unsigned one) and love as an addition to my Tool art collection. However, like some other reviews on here, the unsigned one arrived with the mandible broken off the skull :( I fortunately have a dentist friend who pasted it back together with fancy acrylic glue. But as not only a collector of cool art, I'm also an investor and the broken mandible negatively affects the value of the piece. Toolband, make this right!?

JasonFebruary 20, 2023This is wild. I didn’t even realize Tool was a band. I thought this was an online storefront apothecary that sold current artifacts dealing with the metaverse. Luckily after purchasing this statue a friend informed me that this is in fact and band that produces albums with music. Amazing. To me they sound too much like Earshot, but I appreciate the appeal. Long story short: no regrets for the purchase. Do yourself a favor and get yourself this item and display it for all your friend.

Amazing piece, looks great in the TOOL cabinet being the centrepiece! Incredible to have a solid work like this in the collection. Sorry to hear some were damaged in shipping. Mine arrived in pristine condition. Thanks Tool family for making cool shit!!
